This mug sold today, which is awesome and sad becuase I loved this mug and almost kept it for myself. It was such a nice, chunky mug to hold!

I don’t think I ever got a chance to post this pitcher, this is from this autumn. Unfortunately, due to a dislocated finger and the fact that my studio is unheated, I’ve been unable to work for the last few weeks.

Hopefully I’ll be back in soon! But keep a watch on my posts, I think I’ll have some big news coming up in the next week or so!

waking-dreams-of-harmony asked: Hi Alycea! Your work is lovely! If you don't mind me asking, I'm a bit naive on the subject of clay pottery, but do you use lead free glaze and paints? Does the glaze even have lead in it to begin with? Sorry if the seem like dumb questions I'm just going off of what I've heard. Thanks! :)

Hi there! Thank you so much for the kind words!

I do use lead-free glazes. All the glazes I use are lead-free, and food safe, which works out since I normally make ‘food ware.’ Some glazes do have lead in them, but I tend to avoid them for exactly that reason. :-)
